The Primos Spring Hen has worked really well for me. Have no experience with any others.

M.A.D. Calls "The Egg" is indeed a pretty nice one. The H.S. Strut Push Button Yelper does not sound very good, and the Quaker Boy Easy Yelper is a cheap piece of junk (I bought one for my wife, and it began to come apart in her hands after only a few pushes).

I would suggest the Quaker Boy Pro Push Pin. It is a step up from the easy yelper. The carbon rod adds a ton of tone quality to the call.

Yeah I've heard those plastic ones and dont like them. I used to have a wood one and it sounded great till it broke. I would go with a wooden one.

I have to agree with the guys on the HS Strut plastic box - save your money on this one!
