It is very cold in Alabama.[&:] The temperature today barley made it to 40 degrease. That is 30 degrease below normal for the middle of April.[
] For a matter of fact the temperatures has been up and down all season. Just wondering how this would effect turkey hunting in a state that is usually warm this time of year. It is supposed to warm up by Thurseday and highs are to be back in the 70's. Thanks for any replies.

Bamabuck,
Long time no talk... My brother killed an 18 pounder sporting an eleven inch beard & 1 & 1/4" spurs this morning. This was the same bird that he has been working all season. He has been henned up, but not this morning. He was the only bird little brother saw.

It has been cold here in AR as well, and it seems that the turks around here aren't as active in this colder weather (especially with the gobbling) but i dunno, it may just be my area?? They usually ALWAYS gobble in the morning, henned up or not, so i think this colder weather has had at least something to do with it.
