It is hard to say from the distance of the pict. Did the bird have brown eyes or pink? How about the bill? The feathers apear to have some pigment on them so I would lean to a white bird rather than albino.

I think I would say a white bird also. Domestic wild cross.

I would agree with the tame bird idea...

I shot a very similar all white tom like yours. Completely white with clear spurs and toenails. Has tiny bit of blck flecking in feathers. 10.5" all black beard but has similar eyes to yours.

Is it an albino or just a descendant of a yard bird? We same him just after hatch in 2002 so he was born and raised wild.

Thanks for any help you can provide.

I would call it smoke-gray.Chances are this is a wild turkey and not a domestic or "tame" bird.By the way was this on private or public land.

Looks to be a wild bird with alot of white pigmentation in the feathers. One place I used to hunt had two such hens in the flock. I spent a couple years chasing them around in the fall with my bow trying to get one of them. After several misses and lost arrows I finally connected with one, here's a pic.
