Tremendous news!!!!!! The rest of Cody's bone marrrow tests have finally come back & results were great!!!
Chromosone test was normal, the last one before the transplant was abnormal & had the dr. concerned. He was very pleased with this one.
We also got the DNA test back that checks to see what % of the marrow is Graft, how much is Cody's, if any. Results: 100% Graft!!
He can now have limited visitors, which makes all of us, especially Cody & Chelsea very happy. ALso, the dr. said if Cody is doing as well next week, then next weekend he can come home for the weekend!!!!
Thank all of you for the prayers & well wishes, please don't stop, there are still complications that can come up. The medical people have told us that it is common for patients to be hospitalized with infections & such 2 or 3 times the 1st year, even if they are doing well. So he's not out of the woods, yet, but he can see the treeline it would seem. But we can't let down our guard. I was told awhile ago that a lady in a town about 70 miles North of here, who had recently had a bone marrow transplant & was finally able to take a vacation with her husbsand & 2 kids. She, her husband & 1 of the 2 kids was killed in a wreck today. The other child is critical, please pray for him & continue to pray for Cody.
