...Look all im trying to do is help, what some call rookies, but i call them new turkey hunters
the best advice i can give is this,To call in a Gobbler, the best thing i found a few moons ago
was to work the (RYTHEM) of a wild turkey hen,and yes there is one the best would be
tapes ,vidios, etc of the wild turkey hen, work slow until you pick up the notes of the hen
sometimes they can be quick yelps in the spring, with clucks but knot always sometimes
a muture hen will let her yelps draw out long with cluck and yelps, but start you a number
of yelps and clucks and purs, get on a count for exsample 7-3-2. 7 being yelps, three being
clucks, two being purs, anything added will help like the cackle,wine..etc this has helped
me to kill alot of turkey after i become to hear what, they call (veterans) i call them
(ole turkey hunters) but they have been-there-done-done that, just trying to help
some-one....heck im still a rookie...

LOL Totoe, I know what you mean, I've been hunting turkeys for close to 30 years and I learn something new on most every hunt, and the old saying is true when it comes to turkey hunting, "hind site is 20-20."
