just got added to the team, who else is on, and where from? to lazy to check it out for myself, going to hunt in maine, vermont, and if i still don't have a big enough bird, heading to connecticut. two years ago my buddy shot a bird with a 11+ plus beard, weighed 29lbs, 1.25? spurs. says there are still 3 left there that size. if that doesn't help the cause, time to get the sewing needles and lead weights out!

By my count/estimation, there are 240 hunters signed up for the Turkey Challenge. (10 teams of 24 each). I hope that every one of the participants has a successful, safe hunting season. For some, success will mean harvesting a turkey. For others, success will be simply an opportunity for some stress relief or relaxation time.
I hope everyone of us has a safe spring hunting season, too, and each of you knows you can contribute greatly to your safety as well as the safety of anyone else out there by hunting and thinking safety at all times when you are afield.
It would be great if all 240 team players harvested a tom this spring. All the great information and expert advice on this board should, by now, have made everyone an expert turkey hunter.
Good luck to all, but keep an eye on Team 9. We (that is, Ryan Tucker) have already posted a fine Osceola, first bird of the Challenge!!! Team 9 rules!!!

Although I have seen earily success for your team I for one have no fear that the true champions will rise to the top. Just like cream. Go team 3
Heading to Alabama tomorrow for the eastern. Will be gone for a week, unless I take my "Mac".
