Default My spring tom

This is my gobbler I got last spring. He had a 9 1/2 inch beard 1 inch spurs and weighed 19 lbs. When I shot this bird there were 3 others with him and they were all about the same size so I tried to pick the biggest one and let him have it. I was right up on these birds and didn't realize it. I heard them gobblin from down in the hollow. So I drove up around on top of the hill. I got into position under some little hemlocks. I got everything ready, gave a couple of yelps with my mouth call, and they just exploded from about 50 yards away. I couldn't see them though cuz they were down over a little knob. They were comin right up the old logging road though right to me. When they came into view they were at about 25 yards. They came up and were circling around my decoy. I could tell they knew something was wrong, and 2 of them started walking back were they came from but the other 2 stuck around. Once this one was clear of the others I let him have it and got him as you can see.
