Default Starting a new NWTF chapter?

Hey I live in area that there is not a Chapter within an hour and a half drive. I was wondering how a chapter gets started. I doubt that I could be a officer or anything like that (not even saying I would want be )being a 20 year old college student and all, but I would like to get involved in a local chapter out here in SW washington in the Centralia area. Whats the best way to go about it I imagine there would need to be some pretty dedicated few to get it started.

Get some info out to others that your intrest towards a local Chapter is strong and you would like to know if there is other out there with the same intrestes. Have them call you, after you have recieved a few people with the intrest, then have a get together and see if someone would like the job of running it. The intrest of others needs to be a stong one to keep things together at the start. Then get in contact with a RD and let them know that you have the jump start on a new Chapter. Then it all flys from there...BT

You should be able to get ahold of your regional director from the NWTF web site.

You have an outstanding State President in Washington...go to their website and contact him. The Regional Director can give you all the information needed to get started...the key in my opinion is to have a committee of folks who are committed and energetic...so before you start, you have the basis of a successful chapter. I would say if you have 10 -15 people who will be on the committee, you have the basis to build on.

GO FOR IT!
