Hello everyone,
Does anyone out there have a good recepie for smoking turkeys that they wouldn't mind sharing? Our turkeys are tough birds and alder smoked is recommended. Thanx

That's what I used, love that Alder and we have plenty of it too. I'd experiment, I use a brown sugar,cinamon and various salt rubs. Usually turns out good, depending on the size usually takes about 6 to 8 hours for a whole bird. Big key is to make a tent out of tin foil,that will keep the outside from burning. And to cook it at about 200F
