Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Comp-N-Choke

I have read periodically on this post for the past couple of months about the use of the Comp-N-Choke for the Mossberg 835. How many actually use this combination and what seems to shoot best out of your 835? I know each gun shoots differently, but I would like to gather some information.

I too use the comp-n-choke on my 835. But mine is the 28" barrel so i decided to just go with the xx-full (.680) which is still reel tight constriction compared to other choke companys. Mine likes 3.5" Winchester HV #6's. Over 25 in head and neck at 40 yrds

I am using the xxx-full in my 835. I am using 3.5 Remington Premier Magnums #6's. Great combination.
