you get a push button, you got a mouth call.
madd calls makes a 4x4 friction, that will give you 6 different sounds.
I have a favorite,it ie a little cedar box,I use it more than any other I have.
get one and try it at the pro shop and see what you like.

I am not a hunter I am a whitetail population reduction specialest

remember keep your back to the sun, your knife sharp, and your powder dry.

I like the Lomesome Hen it a push button call , also old yeller both by knight-hale, Lynch makes a good 2 sided box call, Any call will be good ,It's what you feel Good with, Buy a tape that has all the sounds of the wild Turkey and Practice,

Yates40342: The easist call I think is a Box Call for the new person to start hunting with. You can make all the calls with a box and can be loude or soft calling. I myself would buy a Lynch box call #102.

Box calls are the easiest, then comes slate calls. Get a turkey calling tape/video and practice duplicating their sounds.

Practice, practice, practice until your wife threatens to divorce you or your neighbors call the cops!!! Just kidding.

The QuakerBoy "Little One Sider" is a great Box call that most of all the calls can be done on it with ease. The sound quaulity is good on this call and the price is also reasonable...BT

I am real simple, a box call and a mouth call. I carry a locator but I still use my truck door as a locator.
