Default New to the Game

Hello, New to the boards and the sport of hunting, my father and brother have been doing it for years and I finally decided to go hunting simply to get to spend some quality time with the old man and now I am totally hook. Come May we are planning to go turkey hunting. I am looking for the best public land in upstate NY, souther tier perfered. Which places would you guys recommend. Thanks.

Welcome Papo - Looks like I am in the same boat as the other 2 guys, only hunt PA.

You may want to post in the Northeast forum on this website - you may get some more hits from guys that hunt NY.

Thanks everyone.Charlie P since I am new I am not too familar with the areas but where I have gone deer hunting was Sterling forest and Stewart airport, are these good spots for turkey? Appreciate your imput. Thanks again everyone
