If you can find out a little about the land owner you can make it personal,that show that you took the time and appreciate the privledge.

I always offer to help a day or two around the farm or house.At Chrismas I try to give them somethin I thing personal.(example) One couple I gave the husband a bottle of wine and the wife a scented candle.
