to help hunt turks here?I use one quite a bit in different areas covering alot of ground. Also it occasionally can get so wet the roads are about unpassable even in my 4 wheel drive and thats when my Bayou comes in handy!Sometimes gettin to where the birds are at can be the toughest part of the hunt..

I use a motorcycle called a big Wheel. It is mad by yamaha. It is a 2 wheeler but it has huge tires like a 4 wheeler does. It gets where most cant go. I love it. Yamaha doesnt make them any more but they should. It has a rack on the front and back. I tell you what i dont leave home with out it. Here is a picture of one but mine is camoed out.

I use my quad alot..Around here, alot of the logging road's, and back road's have just lost it's snow, and no way to take my 4X4 truck in there...but my quad does just fine. I don't take it where I know there's heavy hunting pressure....don't want to bust up anyone's hunt...Plus I have enough of my own land, I don't have to worry about it..

You have to be versatile down here- 4 wheeler, Pirogue,or just humpin it on foot- Most of the NF lands have good main roads and dont allow off- road vehicle travel in any of their roads-
On our lease thou we have those certian individuals that feel the need to see how bad their trucks are and end up doing nothing but tearing up the roads to the point that no one can pass on them - so when there stuck in the mud hole they dug out I pass them up on the ole four-trax and honk the horn and say " Yall have a good one, YA hear"

Arctic Cat 400 4x4. This is my first year to have a 4 wheeler, but I plan on using it some. I am selling my Chevy 4 x 4 and am driving a 2wd truck now, so I'll definately need the Cat to get me into those hard to reach places then go on foot to those really hard to reach places.
BTW it does that really well.

I wish I could find a Three wheel bike. Like the post above said, public lands have good roads but won't allow motorized vehicles on them. These bikes have a rack on the back. Everyone I've seen has been priced high. One day I'll have to break down and get one.
