How much difference is there in the way these guns shoot? I have an 870 wingmaster that I turkey hunt with and would like to get another one, but the Express are a bit cheaper. I was wondering what you guys thought.

Does Rem still even make the WingMaster anymore?
My first gun given to me by my dad on my birthday was a Rem 20ga Wingmaster- Beautiful gun with the High Gloss wood, he had my name and the date he gave it to me engraved on the side of the chamber, I think I was 12 yrs old then- It was probably the most memorable birthday I'll ever have-
I've still got that gun today and I've probably killed more deer, turkey and squirrels with that gun then all of my others combine-
It's put away in the gun cabinet now but I plan to hand it down to my oldest son probably next year with hopes of him taken as good of care with it as I did.
As for the difference in the two guns you mentioned- I think it's just cosmetic, the Wingmaster is basically the same gun as the Express except the finish is just different in terms of looks-
But I was wrong once before![:-]

I like my express more than my wingmaster for turkeys. The high gloss on the wingmaster bothers me in the woods. Plus, i can bang around my express and not worry about a scratch.

Never had a wingmaster, but love my express. I bought the express mainly because I couldn't see the point of taking a nice shiney gun into the woods. Nice non glare finish on the express.
