I drove up on a pile a poults one time on a dirt road and in my opinion they dont need to fly cause them babys can run, Im here to tell ya!
i was doing about 40 mph and there was two in the ditch running right along side a me and not even breathing hard.

10 days, but they can only fly straight up, and only for maybe 10 feet or so. Thats why the first 10 days are the most crucial for a turkey poult.
