I just found out I was drawn for this Spring's Turkey hunt (in Maine it is done by lottery). I won last year but didn't even get to go. This year I'm excited and raring to go get my first Tom.

got my tag too, first year of trying! i didn't even want to try, but a friend who is a guide made the mistake of telling me how he had not drawn a tag yet, so just to tick him off, i had to apply for one. hope to get a bird early, so i can concentrate on the VT season
