If you look at the gun you will see that it is an older design Baretta that Baretta licenced to Daly...Daly used to be a name associated with high end guns...they went broke and sold the name to a gun maker who is now producing a nice gun at low cost...Sure its not a Remington or a Benneli but its a good value for sure

I have seen them in the store.. Have checked them out a few.. Its like most things if you can buy it at wal-mart and/or its cheap people put it down. Alot of guys spend way to much on a gun.. A cheap gun will kill a animal just as dead as a expense one.. I thinks its more of a my gun is better than yours thing... Most of the time the cheap stuff is just same good.... Just my 2 cents worth...

I have one and think it's a pretty good little auto. You do need to keep it clean and certain types of ammo don't eject well. I too had problems with some dove loads. I had to make sure they were heavier dove loads. Other than that it's a great gun.

I've also read that this gun uses the same choke tubes as Remington. Does anybody know if that is true for there youth 20ga model.

I know a fellow that works at the gun shop that bought himself a Charles Daly autoloader last spring for turkey hunting. I saw the gun and handled it and it looked pretty decent to me. It had nice looking camo, matching sling and fiber optic sights. This particular fellow has had nothing bad to say about his gun so I take that to mean he likes it!;)

Yeah Dux, they take a Remington choke.
