Default Question For Flordia Hunter's

Ill be in West Palm Beach area in the beginning of March,and would like to hook up with a guide,or access to public ground that hold's good Turkey numbers.Does anyone know of anyone in this area that provides this service.Ill only have 5 day's there,and ide like to hit the ground running,instead of serching.Are there any management unit's close to this area that would be better than public land?Thank's!

HH: the season opens the 2nd. of march.
there is a wildlife mang. area called Fisheating Creek WMA.
go to www.state.fl.us/fwc they have a lot of good info there.

I was at Bass Pro Orlando yesterday and there was an H.S. Strut staffer giving a seminar. He mentioned Fish-Eating Creek several times. I thought he said something about needing a boat to get in there, though. He also mentioned the Avon Park Bombing Range, it's a type 2 management area. That's a little north of where you'll be.
