I've only taken 7 turkeys in my life. Only one a year in Indiana. Two of them were 25 pounds. I live in S.E.Indiana. There are some BIG birds around here. We have good habitat.
This year we get to hunt in the afternoon too. The bird population is very strong. We are having a mild winter, so I'm hoping to saee a lot of birds this spring. More hens to hatch more chicks.
