Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default New Turkey Locator Call

I just got my February issue of Turkey & Turkey Hunting magazine and in the article titled "A Lifetime Of Turkey Locating" by Jim Casada, there is an inset box titled "Unusual Locators" where he lists 7 unusual sounds that he has heard cause a turkey to shock gobble. The last one on the list is "A fellow hunter breaking wind with considerable vigor". Now, I have a friend who told me several years ago that he made a turkey gobble on the roost with this unusual method, but since he is kind of windy in more ways than one, I took it with a grain of salt. But now we have a well known turkey authority saying he has been a witness to this phenomenon. So now, turkey hunters, along with your crow calls, owl hooters and coyote howlers, you are going to have to pack a can of pork and beans in your vests this spring so you too can try out this new locator call!

Yeh but what if it goes too far and becomes more than a windy? You know...a "lumpy".

I beleave the call is made by the pork and bean company.
No stricker needed. I would advise wiping the call off after use though. These type of calls can get really messy with alot of use.
