Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default KS and WY Toms

I was fortunate to take my first Rio Grande in Kansas this spring. 4 toms, 4 Jake’s, and 8 hens came into my decoys. I killed him at 28 yards once he separated from the others. 10 1/4” beard, 1” spurs, 19lbs 14oz. The old Buick was near where I killed him.

I then hunted in northern Wyoming. I took this Merriam on the first morning at 45 yards, 9” beard, 1/2” spurs, 18lbs.
