Default Stupid shipping charges

Looking around for different TSS turkey loads, have tried federal and BossTom in 20 ga. Checked into verdict and rogue. Priced a bit more than boss but they want 22-26 bucks to ship 1 box of 5 20 ga shells. And they have 1/8 to 3/8 oz less shot than boss and boss ships free with 100 dollar order. End cost.
Boss Tom 3" 20 ga 2oz loads 11.00 ea
Rogue/ Verdict 3" 20ga 15/8-1 7/8 oz loads 15.20 ea

I've been using the federal and purchase though Midway. I normally wait till they go on sale though and buy several boxes. The last ones were 25$ a box and I picked up 10 boxes. Should be set for a while. I really like the Boss for waterfowl though when I can afford it. Have personally talked to the owner and he's a stand up guy.

well the money most spend for hunting, ammo is the cheapest part of the equasion when you figure gas, camo and all that. but still 26 bucks to ship 5 rounds?

I load 20 some different rifle cartridges, I possibly shoot 4 TSS rounds, and a couple boxes of lead loads. So loading shotgun shells is something that would not be worth the time and investment to me

Yup that's impressive at 40 yds. I don't think I could get that tight with my SBE 12 ga with a custom choke. I don't use that #9 shot though and shoot a blend hevi shot 5,6,7
