Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Mid-Day Roost?

Found five hens sitting in the trees today about noon.

This common? Did something scare them up there? They just lazy?

From my experience.

Turkeys will fly up if pressured by predators.

On some poor weather days they will stay on roost longer.

They are turkeys. And turkeys do what turkeys do.Just when you think you have it all figured out they hand you another egg and the yolk is on you!

Been there there 40 yrs Jake. And still learning.

I was in the same area today and saw them on an open gas line feeding about 1100.

Fall turkey is a few weeks away but I at least know a general area to give it a try.
