Learning the Lost call is a good tool in the spring hunt. Turkeys like companinship and will move towards a local call. Learning to call to hens aswell can lead a Ol Tom right into your range, keep in mined that not every tom in the woods will Gobble at your calls. In the turkey world we call this " Silent Tom' s" another call that will work in the spring of the year is the fall call " Kee-Kee" its a good idea to try to learn and understand the language of the Birds...BT

Well said BT. It is important to learn the calls and to practice them all year. Most guys make the mistake of not picking their call up until the week before the season starts. I practice year round (drives my wife crazy) but in the long run it pays off in the turkey woods. Good luck and ask any question you may have, we are to try to help. Welcome to the Turkey woods.
