I'm excited to put some rounds thru my "new" Mossberg turkey slayer. Started out with a Mossberg 500 Slugster deer gun and ended up with a bad ass turkey gun. The makeover started with a Blackhawk gen II Knoxx SpecOps tactical stock and forend. Got a 20" aftermarket barrel capped with a Hevishot turkey choke. Had it all hydrodipped in Spring Mimicry. Got a Slogan Outdoors sling to throw it over the shoulder when hauling out a big Tom. Very happy with how it turned out and can't wait to chase some birds with it. Should have gotten on a team.

How do you like the Blackhawk stock? Does it help with recoil as advertised? I have read one review that says it helps with recoil to shoulder but the recoil in the had is significantly more. Also what about the muzzle rise?
Sorry for all the questions but I am in the market lol

I am quite happy with the stock. More the looks and collapsibility. Didn't seem to reduce felt recoil but then again if I shot it with stock stock, may very well see a difference. And after putting 15 or so rounds thru it when patterning it, the shoulder was a bit tender, but not bad really. Can't speak to the muzzle rise.
BTW - shot a dandy 21.5# bird with 9" beard & 1 1/8" spur
