The Hunting Public

If any of you like hunting videos, check out The Hunting Public and their inaugural turkey tour. Videos are on YouTube, you can also follow them on Instagram and FB.
They post some very good footage of what actual turkey hunting is like - good days, bad days, and the majority of those that fall somewhere in the middle.
Go to their video playlist and watch them hunt birds in Alabama and Mississippi. There's also a trip to the Woodhaven 'factory'. It's at least something to kill the time for those of us who are still itching to hunt...

I also suspect product endorsement is a BIG focus of the show, because I've never seen anyone carry around a full strut decoy and use it like they do...

Ok, so I gotta chew some crow and say that the latest video blog of Culpepper is pretty good. His calling sounds way better than previous shows. Maybe the wind or post-hoc editing screwed up the tone on the first few episodes, or maybe it was just my hearing...haha...
Regardless, all I can say is that I've called in my share of coyotes and various critters over the year, and I feel for him having a tough season.
Hunting Public crew are off to hunt more birds. I hope to spend my springs during retirement doing exactly what they're doing right now...
