yea i'm not sure about 30 lbs.. but i've had some close misses with birds flying across the road. they seem to act just as dumb as deer sometimes. instead of just waiting till the car passes they kick up out of the ditch and try to beat me across the road.. i know last year in Glennville a true trophy double-bearded, 1.5" spurred monster was taken out trying to cross 301. shame..
