Need a little more information. Do you already have a regular shotgun barrel with just the front bead? If that's the case and you have a rib barrel, I would install an adjustable rear fiber optic sight on it and if the front bead is just a regular shotgun type and will come off I would also replace it with a new fiber optic one.

Add the second bead (a brass bead will do) and then stack the beads when you pattern.
That will help you focus also.
Hey been there ~ I lifted my head is all I can figure. I missed killing a find bird long ago and could not really understand why? It was at 18 yrds! The best I could figure is I lifted my head enough off the stock which caused me only to knock a few feathers out of the bird! I rolled it, the head and neck was extended and I was totally dumbfounded that bird flrew away! I absolutely hate wounding any animal. It happens, but I want to prevent that - so I went to what I described in a previous post. I used that combo for yrs until my eyes could not focus correctly due to age.
I have double beads on all my Trap guns. At set, b efore I call for my clay bird, I make sure my bead is what they call 'stacked' (Figure 8 in appearance) Then call for my bird.
If the bead is the way you want to go add the second bead as it can only help you not make my mistake!

I agree with that if he has the ability to put another bead on that easy. If he uses the gun for more than turkey hunting though, then IMHO I'd think seriously about putting that adjustable rear sight on it to really dial in a nice pattern.
