Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default My New Ride

Well, after 301,000 miles it was time to trade in the old Sprinter for a new "Mobile Turkey Killin' Unit." I opted for a Ford Transit. It's a bit smaller, but I really like it so far (just got it yesterday). I'll apply an "In Loving Memory of All the Gobblers I've Killed" sticker in the rear window today, and then it's ready to head for FL in 3 weeks. What y'all think?

Very nice. Sounds like it was time. I know that truck and sticker...you were lined up in front of us at a local Florida WMA last year. My buddy and I talked with you a bit before the gate opened.

Shoot the old ride still looks in good shape! You must carry a lot of equipment!

Quigley: It has registered 18.4 so far. I'll be checking with every tank of gas.

JW: I'm a carpenter for 9 months of the year (the non-turkey-season portion), so I carry lots of tools and materials. Then, it serves as a mobile home during "Primetime."

RPD: Yep, I remember. Probably see ya down there again, since it's my FL base. I hear it's a "bit" wet this year!!

Oh, yeah. I won't be in camp much or hunting the WMA at all until my clients get their birds.
