Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

What is a "fair" price for turkey hunting?

Thanks for a lot of the info. I understand the guy just buying a license and go out hunting, but it's owning land is the main reason I need to hire a guide (that and time being short).

I wouldn't flinch at going to a WMA out of state.

I have paid to turkey hunt before, mostly in western states for Rios & Merriams, and once in Florida to finish a Grand Slam. Personally, I wouldn't pay more than $200 day for private land access and I don't need a guide, maybe a little more if they were throwing in lodging and/or meals. I mostly hunt public land close to home, but every once in a while I like to treat myself.
