Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Fairmont WV Rainy Turks

I'm in WV for a work training. Pretty country, but the turkeys I see every day, when I leave I-79 Tech Park are getting me. There's a small flock, behind a house and one has a ROPE for a beard. He's one of those longbeards that'll haunt your dreams!

Spent several years in that area and trust me, it IS loaded with birds. One year, I got footage of a flock of 56 doing their stuff in the spring, 26 of those were gobblers! Took 2 double beards out of that flock that were absolute bruisers, 11 1/2" x 7 1/2".

Got a tip on a decent guide in the area or any landowner connections?

No, haven't hunted there for over ten yrs. but it was great while it lasted. The farm I hunted was divided and sold.
