Hens are talking no gobbling??

I think part of when they gobble has a lot to do with the weather too. Barometer high: gobbles. Barometer low: little or no gobbles.

I've also had a problem with a dominant hen all this week. I bad mouthed her this morning and pretty much ran her off the roost. But, she took several gobblers with her. On a good note, it caused two other hens to come my way with the dominant tom in tow. Just when you think something went wrong, they change the game plan. He tripped on some #5's and fell down and got a boo boo.
