Hey fellow Turkey slayers I heard through the internet that Winchester is produceing a new turkey round called the Longbeard xr has anyone seen them for sale or tried them out ive been looking up here in Ontario and as yet nothing , Any help would be appreciated

I ordered them online from Bass Pro. I haven't shot them
yet but the people I know that have love them. Good luck!

I grabbed a box in 3" #6...waiting for the weather to be more spring like to try em out!

I plan to try out a box or two on the range just to see how they compare to the hevi shot blend. I doubt they will perform as well but who knows.

I shot mine yesterday and all I can say is WOW! Very impressed with the pattern.

Just shot one shell threw my Ventilator .655 and at 40 yards it threw a great pattern... Pattern looked like a 30 yard pattern... 3" #5

This is a re post from earlier this year.

Finally had some nice weather to do a little test.It wasn't a real fair test because I used different size shot. I was using Rem Nitro Turkey 3 1/2 #5 vs Winchester Long Beard 3 1/2 #6. At 20 yards both had almost the same coverage. When I went out to 40 yards the Win had better coverage.

Rem Nitro #5 3 1/2......................... Win Long Beard # 6 3 1/2
20 yds 133 pellets in the neck.......... 20 yds 136 pellets in the neck
145 pellets in the circle................... 158 pellets in the circle
