Maybe I ought to just avoid Green Ridge and stick to Savage. Getting shot isn't exactly high on my list of things to do this spring season XD

You can try weekdays after first day, most turkey hunter's seem to give up after the first week, and the toms might be more receptive to your calls; later in the season. More Pennsylvania hunters seem to hunt Green Ridge Forest than Maryland hunters; and the Penn. hunters seem to be more dedicated then the average Maryland hunter, in pursuit of wild game --- that is --- they hunt the place hard from dawn to dusk; when legal.

If you turn off Route 68 onto 15 Mile Creek road going west into Green Ridge...be on the lookout for major vehicular traffic, that are hauling ATV's up to and from Stafford Road; especially on weekends.

Green Ridge Forest also has a shooting range for a fee, though I've never shot there.

Fifteen Mile Creek should be stocked with trout this spring, including a trout pond over off of Wurlizer {forgive my spelling} Road after turning off of Green Ridge Rd. There is usually a huge tent near the trout pond during springtime.

I have been screaming uncle for a while now.. It just is doing no good here.. We have more snow heading our way by mid week as if we do not have enough already... I am calling out for flocks of robins to try and blow the storm out to sea.. We do not need another one.. Oh, well the snow might be leaving here around the end of April just as my turkey season opens up.. So it may just be a great thing if it leaves on time..
