Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Newbie questions

Hey guys,

I have hunted turkey maybe two or three times that I can remember. I really don't have much experience, so I wondering if you could shed some light on something for me.

I live backed up to woods and have seen random turkey show up in my backyard. They are just passing through and never really hanging around. It is usually one or two, but last week I saw seven come through.

What are the chances they are resident turkey? Also, what are the chances I can get one of them to come in with calls and a decoy?

I would like to set up my blind back there and arrow a Tom.

Thanks in advance.
