Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default First Turkey of the Year 2014

Our Youth hunt in south florida was this past weekend and Tommy Jr connected at 6:30 am saturday . We heard him gobbling down in the cypress swamp so we ran down to him and got within 75 yards. I set my son in front of me about 25 yards and then began putting to him. He stopped gobbling when I started calling. I never saw the bird but 5 minutes later KABOOM. He came sneaking up to us and my son saw his pretty head coming through the cypress knees. He said that when the bird stopped and stuck his neck out, He let him have it. Scared the crap out of me when the gun went off becuase I had no idea the bird was there.
Might be the first bird shot in the US for the 2014 season.

Nice man! I've still got a foot and a half of snow here, and it happens to be -12 degrees this morning. I cant wait for spring to move up north!

Nice bird. Congrats to you both.
You know you may never go turkey hunting alone again?
