I just ordered the avian x 3/4 strut jake and breeder hen combo for $159 from cabelas. I thought it was a good price and the decoys look great. This probably doesn't help you out much but I will know more by the end of this turkey season lol.

Forget the price and get the best !!!!

When these 3 Texas Rio Grande Toms caught sight of my DSD hen they all dropped in their tracks when their hearts just stopped !

No offence but... I don't think you need a $150 decoy... rio's in Texas would prob run in waving a white flag to a black tube sock hung over a stake...

I would start with the feeder decoy, simply because its a natural, relaxed stance.

Those Texas Rios can be just as hard to harvest as an Eastern or Osceola.

I've harvested just as many turkeys over my old Carrylite shell decoys and Featherflex decoys as I have over my DSD's.

Live a little. Spend the 159. That 1/4 strut jake and hen combo just freak em out.

LB if you can and when I use decoys I don't like to use less than 2.

One hen feeder and one hen laying there ready to be molested. I have found that works the best for me.
