Default Spring Merriams

Does anyone have info they would be willing to share on a spring merriams DIY hunt area for 2014. Maybe south Dakota, Wyoming, Colorado. Also potential Nebraska but don't want a Hybrid. any help greatly appreciated

what is it exactly your asking? where a good place is to hunt merriams that's NOT a guide service or retreat. Like a good state wildlife piece of land ?

You might try Ken Crown, 307-467-5352 in NE Wyoming.
He charges a reasonable access fee that also includes
a rustic cabin and decent supper meals. There is a huntable
population of Merriams but don't expect to see big flocks.

Or in New Mexico, the Jicarilla Indian reservation has
a lot of birds and a huge area to hunt for a reasonable
access fee that includes camping rights at a couple
camp sites. Must apply for this in advance.

Good Luck!
