We saw some a few weeks back. About the size of a small chicken.

I've had 3 hens and 22 little behind my house almost everyday for the last few weeks. Saw 3 hens and 7 little ones on 1 of my leases. My dad saw 2 hens and 5 little ones on the farm my boy hunts and my unlce has seen about 20 little ones on his place. This is the best hatch we've had in SW MO in 3 years. Have talked with some of my neigbors and they are seeing several poults as well.

SE Ala. area that I hunt, som 3150 acres .... I have jumped group after group of hens with poults these past 8-10 weeks. Largest group was 4 hens and what appeared to be 30-40 poults.

I had a hen with 5 chicks on game camera. I actually came in one day to check on my stuff and she was right there! I haven't seen her in a few days but maybe she'll come back around.

lots of them

i'm a forestry ranger in north mississippi and i have seen the best hatch in years. every part of the county i work in i have seen large groups of chicks anywhere from 6 inches in height to 1/4 grown. the flock i saw today had so many new ones i couldn't count them before they moved out of the field.

Saw 4 hens with 12 poults out in a newly cut field about
1/2 mile from my house yesterday. Looks to be an average
reproduction year here in Maine. Rains in late May/early June
had an impact I'm sure.

Im in south-central KY. I've got about 4 different groups in my small area. One group with 2 hens and about 25 poults nearly grown that run together. I see them almost every day in the same field about 20 feet from the road. That've gotten used to me stopping and watching now and they hardly make an effort to run away now. I actually walked in and jumped them off roost the other day at dusk trying to yote hunt.

The other sets I've seen have been in the woods on the other side of the property and I didn't get a real good look but there was a bunch for sure.

Should be some real good seasons ahead of me

Best hatch I've seen in my area in years. I have three different broods just on my property. The future looks good.
