Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Default Big Tom Still Lookin For Love

This is the Tom that would have given the Beard Bandits the Contest Championship this year. I had this bird out in front of me at 70 yards the day before the season ended and was waiting for him to get close to me when the neighbors dog came after him and ran him out of the field. I missed him 5 days earlier taking to long of a shot, impatient dummy! Well the season ended the next day no sign of him all day. This picture is from June the 11th. he is still looking for love. Heard him gobble yesterday morning in the same field.

Come this fall he will be on my hit list again. He is staying in the area with a couple of other nice birds and since I did not get a bird this spring fall Turkey hunting will be more for me than if one just walks by hunting I will hunt during the gun season for a Tom this year.
