Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

Not much better than we can. That's why they wait till daylight to fly down.

Default night vision

they surely can hear and see movement well before daylight but like a deer laying down, they hate to move if they don't have too. mostly ya can't shoot them out of trees anyway, especially in the spring when sex is an issue

cheers

This is a nice joke, that Turkey can see while on the roast. But seriously Turkey can't see as much better as a cat can. That's why they can easily be tracked in the night. There is another thing that the taste of Turkey is vary tasty.

I learned the hard way not to use a flashlight to access your stand unless it is WELL before the hint of daylight. If you've heard any gobbling you DEFINATELY don't want to shine a beam where he can see it. Try sticking to the darkest areas and moving using trees for cover. I don't think their night vision is any better than ours, but it will pick up anything you give them.
