I am new to hunting, and am wondering if my double barrel 12 ga is appropriate for turke, so I'd like to see what others have.

I killed dozens with an old Savage SBS. It was a 12 ga., 30" F/F, chambered fot 2 3/4". It was stolen form me in 1977. It is not a valuable gun, but meant a lot to me because of who gave it to me. I'd give a bunch to have it back.

I now use a Benelli Nova pump, 12 ga. tha can handle up to 3 1/2" shells. I have a Pure Gold .670 choke. THis is a good setup for turkey down this way.

I shoot a Benelli Nova as well. Primos Jellyhead choke and Hevi Shot Mag Blend shells. It works well for me.

i use a 14 ga. muzzle loader from about 1840, the only gun to have, just get close, have shot 4 with it this year, it works for me

Mine is a TC Encore with the 12 gauge 24" barrel set up. Worked today!!

I use a 20" Mossberg 835 with a Jelly Head choke. I shoot 3.5" 2.25oz #6 Hevi-13s.

Browning Gold Hunter 3", 12 w/ factory full choke. Rem Nitro turkey 4 shot. All I need to 35 yards.
