    Great youth hunt this morning despite birds that haven't split up much yet and high winds. 12 year old Jacob Vance harvested his first bird near Montreal MO. Look at the picture closely and tell me if any of you see anything unique about this particular eastern wild turkey.

    Jacob must be very proud of his first
    Turkey. As for what's different, lets
    See the outside tail band looks a little
    Lighter in color than most Easters,
    Mabe a bit more rufous coloration
    At the base of the tail. Then it's
    Hard to tell if I see a leaf by the head
    Or the snood, if it's a leaf is it a bearded
    Hen ? Congratulations to Jacob, whatever it is!!
