Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

What about a friendly civil war?

Default What about a friendly civil war?

What do you guys think about adding a little twist to the turkey hunting contest, north vs. south? Of course everything else will remain the same, but what about maybe adding the total number of birds and scores from the northern hunters and southern hunters in a friendly contest? I'll even volunteer my services of keeping up with the totals. Just a thought.

Lol! Think our limit is a lot more than our northern hunting brothers.

Well, I hunted the south last year. This year I'll be back in the north wishing I was still in Texas instead of Ohio. But I'm sure that only two birds would not make that big of a difference (actually that would be 4 because I'd be taking 2 birds from the south and adding 2 to the north).

I agree sounds like fun but the north comes in last with many states only alowing one bird and many southern states 3 etc.

I will be allowed 8 birds in the three southern states I'm hunting this year, so I think the contest would be fair.
