Hi Guys,

I'm a new guy on here and have a couple questions. Do any of y'all have experience spring turkey hunting in Kansas on public land? I've looked and saw they have quiet a few walk in areas and other spots, just wondering what the pressure is usually like? Thanks for help.

Little to no pressure. Get your tag and license, get in and setup early. Lots of public and non public land to turkey hunt in Ks. Its great!

Sounds good! A buddy and I have got tags for the northeast unit and can't wait. Are there any areas that you know of that you might suggest to someone going up there for their first time?

The closer you hunt to major metropolitan areas, the more hunters you will encounter. Try to hunt areas the furthest away from them.

i hunt the western half, rarely do i see any hunters and much of my time is spent on public land
