How come during deer season I have turkeys the size of velociraptors showing up every day on my cams with beards that almost reach the ground and then come spring all I see are deer?

Probably because thats their winter feeding ground and move when spring comes to another feeding area...

yep! I agree, if you want spring turks u need to look @ least a mile away.
