Turkey Hunting Whether it's spring or fall doesn't matter to this bunch. Great tips on calling, bustin flocks, using blinds and more.

What do you think of the wings on this mount ?

I hate to say it, as I know your proud of this bird. But, I think the shoulder feathers on the wings should of run along the entire length of the wings and not just the first and middle part. As well as the end (on the top part ) not being hidden under the breast feathers. Unless it is just me looking at it wrong or something..

Well it is apparant the major wing feathers have a color difference from the standard barring one can witness on a typical Eastern species. If that is what you are talking about.

And I tend to agree with Phil - Sorry I do like the pose of the bird BUT the body feather placement does not look life like. It may be due to a bad angle and lighting.

Kinda strange. Are there other off-color turkeys where this guy was shot?

Thanks guys, yes the feathers are out a little but for the price I don't really care. I got 3 turkeys at Taxidermies that have been there for 7-11 years and never seen them again nor the money down on them so a 5 month turn over I thought was not bad.

The wing feathers were odd and never seen another in that area so not sure why but I thought it would be neet.
