I am not near the fire and am safe, my home is fare from this..
I was born and raised in this town, hunted turkeys in the mountains that are now on fire. I cant believe whats happening. 6/26/2012

I looked at the burn map and saw one of the areas I liked to hunt is in the burnt area and another spot the flames are almost there.

This is terrible! My heart felt sympathy to all those families that have lost thier homes and everything else.. Also I want to express my appreciation to all those helping to put the fires out!

Very sad indeed,to hear some of the folks on the news express their loss in very heart rending. Thanking loss of life has been low considering how bad it is there.

We came through your state the middle of June (the same weekend the fire started) on vacation. I was amazed at how dry it was. Hope you guys get the rain you need.
