Does any one thinks that a mouse could or would take a jakes beard??

I had some pheasant feet off of my first pheasant several years back. And I had them sitting on the mantle over the fireplace rubber banded and drying. They were both gone the next morning. I blame the mice, so I'm sure they'd carry off a beard
